Reminder for scoresheet deliveries: BRING THE SCORESHEETS FROM BOTH COURTS if you're going to make the trip, and DON'T BRING THE BOOKS. Thanks to everyone who has helped out by delivering scoresheets. I can make it to the gyms sometimes, but not always after the last few games of the day, so it really helps to have somebody bring them to my house. I don't have any use for the books, though. If I get the books, then I just have to make an otherwise unnecessary trip to the gym to bring them back before the next weekend.

1/12/2004 - Note: Official scores for each game are those shown on the "Game Results" page. The official scores are also noted in purple on the stats pages. If you spot any discrepancies, please send me an email with details.

Also, I've noticed that a few of the scoresheets have shown official scores of zero (0) points for one or both teams. These sheets were signed/approved by both coaches, so the scores will stand. If an official score needs to be changed, then both coaches need to contact me with the corrected score. If both coaches agree, then I can make a change in the official score. Please note that the official score is the score shown on the top and bottom of each scoresheet; this is also known as the "running score."

Registration

RPB is a RECREATIONAL league. Those on Club (e.g. Sundevil, Wolverine, Bronco) or High School basketball teams which will have practices and/or games at any time during the RPB game season (January through March) are not eligible to play in the RPB program.

Registration forms are here. RPB is still accepting registrations. However, the later the registration is received the less likely it is the registrant will be placed on a team. The registration fee is $90.

Those players who were not on RPB teams last year need to register in person, so they can be assigned a tryout date and time. Non-returning registrants are encouraged to register before the tryout date for their grade group and can do so by showing up at an earlier tryout session. Returning players can still register by mail.

Team selection will begin in late October and should be completed, except for the High School Divisions, by Mid-November. Most of the team selections (except for the high school divisions) are complete. Contact your division coordinator if you are registering late for a lower grade-level division after November 15.

Player Evaluation (Tryouts)FYI, the following tryout times have been established for registrants who were not on RPB teams last winter:
Boys 9-10 and 11-12 - Wed., Dec 3rd, 7pm at Canyonside.Girls 8-12 - Wed., Dec 3rd, 7pm at Canyonside.
