JRDF.orgUT ArticleHelp Jenny and JDRF in Death Valley

As you probably already know, RPB has been helping Jenny Vandevelde in her drive to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

"My name is Jenny and I play on the Mercury (black) basketball team in the girls 8-12 division.  In May 2006 I plan to bike 36-50 miles in Death Valley to raise money to help find a cure for Juvenile/Type 1 Diabetes.  Please help me by donating used cell phones and ink cartridges.  You can bring them to the RPB Championship games at Black Mountain Middle School on Saturday, April 1, or log onto my webpage to find other ways to get your donations to me.  For more information, please visit my website: http://www.geocities.com/RunninOnInsulin or email me at PlayFromYourHeart@earthlink.net .  Thanks!!"

Tournament Reminders

Please set an example by showing respect for all players, coaches, and officials at all times. Let's teach our children to be gracious in victory and accept defeat with dignity, compliment extraordinary performance, and show sincere respect before, during, and after the game.

RPB Post-Season Tournament

No Food or Drink in Gyms

Please note: RPB's existence as an indoor basketball league is dependent on our following the rules of each of our indoor gym facilities. One rule is that no food or drink is allowed in the gyms. This includes spectators, parents, players, coaches, and referees. Please help us by setting a good example and keeping food and drinks, including water bottles, outside of our gyms. RPB would not be the same if RPB game photoour games were played outside.

Facts about RPB.

RPB is a RECREATIONAL league. Those on Club (e.g. Sundevil, Wolverine, Bronco) or High School basketball teams which will have practices and/or games at any time during the RPB game season (January through March) are not eligible to play in the RPB program.
