Substitutions - Time of substitution does not matter.

If a player comes out of the game before the quarter ends, put a circle around the slash.

For a player who comes in after the start of a quarter, use a backward slash (" \ "). Note: Alcindor arrived after the free throws and prior to the the start of the 1st quarter. If he had arrived after the 1st quarter had started, he would not have been allowed to play during the 1st quarter.

After a player has completed the entire quarter, put a backwards slash over the forward slash, so that an " X " appears in the box for the quarter.
