Check-in - At the start of the second quarter, make a forward slash (" / ") in the appropriate column.

Remember to mark individual scores in the "second" quarter column as well.

Same procedures apply for substitutions (back slash for entering players, circle for players who leave during the quarter).

Early Substitutions Often Cause Trouble - Remind coaches of playing time rules if they make multiple substitutions early in the game. They could easily get into a situation where they would have only 4 eligible players during the 4th quarter. If this is the case, the team must play with only 4 players.
