Scoring Limits - Be aware of scoring limit thresholds. Since this is the Boys-3 division, the limit is 12 points.

Billy Cunningham has scored 9 points so far, but only 8 of the points count against his scoring limit. (The pre-tip-off foul shot does not count.)

If Cunningham scores two more points, you should get the referee's attention and let him/her know.

Upon Cunningham's 12th point (not counting the pre-tip-off point), the scorekeeper must call a timeout. The scorekeeper or timekeeper may sound the horn at this time to get the referee's attention.
