Game Sequence for Scorekeepers and Timekeepers:

  1. Blank scoresheet - Scorekeeper and Timekeeper duties
  2. Pre-game preparations - Names/numbers, pre-tip-off free throws
  3. Pre-tip-off Free Throws - Pre-tip-off free throws, running score, individual player points, PTO FT reconciliation
  4. Player check-in, 1st Quarter, keeping track of playing time
  5. Scoring - Marking points in the running score (official score) section and individual player point section
  6. Fouls - Marking personal fouls, team fouls, and technical fouls
  7. Substitutions - Marking mid-quarter substitutions, tracking playing time
  8. End of 1st Quarter - Reconciliation of 1st-quarter points and fouls (team vs personal)
  9. Player check-in, 2nd Quater - Tracking playing time
  10. 2nd Quarter scoring - Running score is the official score
  11. Timeouts - Marking timeouts, tracking timeout limits
  12. Bonus situation - Bonus and double-bonus, one-and-one, stop clock for shooting fouls
  13. End of 2nd Quarter (half-time procedures) - Reconciliation of points, fouls. Closing out the first half.
  14. 3rd Quarter Check-in - Communication with coaches and referees, tracking playing time
  15. 3rd Quarter Play - Foul-outs, playing time problems, technical fouls
  16. End of 3rd Quarter - Playing time violations, priorities
  17. 4th Quarter Check-in - Communication with Referees
  18. 4th Quarter Play - Individual Scoring Limits
  19. End of Game - Scoresheet reconciliation and signatures
